The anteater has a very long head, nose and mouth. It has no teeth, but it has a long sticky tongue, about 60 cm. It has sharp claws on the front feet. The anteater lives in forests and plains. It eats insects. The colour of the anteater is grey and black. It also has white stripes on each shoulder. Its tail is long and thick.


The sloth is 40 to 75 cm long. It has a small, flat head, large eyes and long legs. Its hair is short and its colour is greyish brown. It likes to hang upside down in trees. It sleeps during the day. It moves very slowly.

The jaguar is 110 to 185 cm long. The tail can be from 45 to 75 cm long. The jaguar has an yellowish orange colour with black spots. Its head and body are big. Its legs are short and thick. It is a very good climber and swimmer. The jaguar eats small animals. It lives on ground, in trees and in the water.
