PLURALE NEREGULATE

SUBSTANTIVE CU PLURAL NEREGULAT

In limba engleza exista cateva substantive comune care formeaza numarul plural intr-un mod mai special. Ele nu formeaza pluralul dupa o anumita regula si de aceea se numesc Plurale Neregulate. Iata care sunt acestea:

man - men 

woman - women

child - children

tooth - teeth

goose - geese

foot - feet

mouse - mice

die - dice

louse - lice

ox - oxen 

Traducerea in limba romana a acestor substantive cu Plural Neregulat:

man (barbat) - men (barbati)
woman (femeie) - women (femeie)
child (copil) - children (copii)
tooth (dinte) - teeth (dinti)  
goose (gasca) - geese (gaste)
foot (laba piciorului) - feet (labele picioarelor)
mouse (soricel) - mice (soricei)
die (zar) - dice (zaruri)
louse (paduche) - lice (paduchi)
ox (bou) - oxen (boi)

Exemple:

A man is here. = Un barbat este aici.
Two men are here. = Doi barbati sunt aici.


A woman is there. = O femeie este acolo.
Two women are there. = Doua femei sunt acolo.


A mouse is under the bed. = Un soricel este sub pat.
Two mice are under the bed. = Doi soricei sunt sub pat.
