Mike, Tony and Jane bought a pumpkin and came to my house at 6:30. Mike took out the inside of the pumpkin and cut holes to make the eyes, a nose and a funny mouth. He put a candle in the pumpkin and put the pumpkin in the window. Then we began to get ready for Halloween. I dressed up as a witch. Mike and Tony dressed up as ghosts and Jane put on a black cat costume. She looked terrific. We went out up and down the street, knocked on the neighbours’ doors and asked for ‘Trick or Treat’. Quite late at night we went to Steve’s party where we played games and told ghosts stories. It was great.
